How to protect and secure your cracked Minecraft server

The main caveat when it comes to cracked Minecraft servers is security. By making your Minecraft server cracked, you are allowing users to join with any nickname, and if they join with the nickname of an admin, it could be dangerous for the Minecraft server, as they can get admin (OP) permissions.

To prevent this, the Spigot community has made a few plugins that are basically game-changers, like AuthMeReloaded which we will be looking at today.

What is AuthMeReloaded?

AuthMeReloaded is a plugin that requires authentication when a player joins. Until they log in, they can’t:

• Use commands;
• Type in chat;
• Walk, run, or even move.

This completely blocks any control that the player may have until they type the password, they can do basically nothing.

This plugin is also very customisable. Some of its features include but aren’t limited to email OTP verification, 2FA, an antibot system. It is used by so many servers nowadays. Definitely try it yourself and see what you think!
